Company Information |
First Star Software was founded in 1982, and within 18 months of the company's inception, Warner Software, Inc., a Warner Communications company, acquired a fifty percent ownership. In the company's formative years they focused on the development and publishing of its own games (Astro Chase, Boulder Dash and others) often licensing rights to First Star Software's titles to third parties, particularly in Europe and Japan. Boing! was their first and only release for the Atari 2600. |
