Module Information |
Tomarc the Barbarian is based on a cartoon series called "Thundarr the Barbarian" produced by Hanna-Barbera. In press releases before the game went on sale, the game was actually presented with the original title of the cartoon series. In the end it was decided, probably for cost reasons, to give the game its own, license-free title. |
Company Information |
Xonox was an American development studio (subsidiary of the recording company K-Tel) which programmed video games only for a short time and, like many other manufacturers, fell victim to the video game crash of 1983. The last Xonox games were released in 1984 for the Colecovision console and the Commodore 64 computer. |
