Spectravideo, formerly known as SpectraVision entered into the video game market in 1981. The company originally developed and distributed video games for the Atari 2600, Colecovision and Commodore VIC-20. Spectravideo was also responsible for its unique Atari 2600 keyboard add-on named CompuMate and produced other hardware, such as the QuickShot joystick.. The company was liquidated in 1988. |
