Funvision™ (Trademark) was registered in the U.S. 24.01.1984 by Fund International Co., Ltd. in Taipei. (and is still surrounded by myth) These company aggressively flodded the market in the 1980s, with pirated games and consoles, in various cart and box styles, around the world. Atari and other companies with a official U.S.-patent had pecuniary losses, with the import and sale of illegal copies. Since 21.05.1990 Funvision has a status of lapsed/not protected.

Funvision (Fund International Co., Ltd.) has nothing to do with Funvision (Dick Smith Electronics Pty Ltd.) in Australia. These company sold computers, consoles, hardware, parts and accessories for computers.
