Hertie was a german department store chain. Arround 1983 they sold several games, only to be buyed in their stores. But none of these games was ever developed by Hertie - all of them were previously published by other companies (compareable with Quelle or Otto Versand games f.e.). Only the designs of the boxes and cartriges were self-designed. At the end of the 1980s Hertie started so close more and more stores, their last was closed in 2009. In 2013 Hertie reopened as an online-shop. |
